Our partners founded one of the fastest growing companies in Canada, which was eventually acquired by a public company. Beyond this, we've successfully launched and scaled diverse ventures. The Ruparell family has operated a substantial portfolio of businesses across the automotive, hospitality, and real estate sectors nationwide since the 1980s.
Our experience spans numerous industries and business models, where we've consistently harnessed technology, innovative go-to-market strategies, and operational best practices to drive sustained growth and efficiency.

Our capital comes from our partners, not external institutional investors. This enables us to have a patient investment approach, free from the pressures of short-term financial objectives. In contrast to a private equity buyer, we aim to build lasting relationships and hold investments over the very long-term.
Tourmalet Partners is named after the Tourmalet Pass, an arduous climb in the Tour de France. We draw inspiration from the resilience and determination displayed by cyclists like Greg LeMond, who famously conquered it on his way to victory in the 1989 Tour de France (after recovering from a shotgun blast to the chest in a hunting accident…), stating, "it never gets easier, you just get faster."
